FFA Attends National Convention
National FFA Convention — Days 1 & 2!
Day 1 was packed with fun in Louisville! We visited the Louisville Zoo, Louisville Slugger Museum, an old-time candy factory, and finished the day with an escape room!
Day 2 brought us to Indianapolis for the National FFA Convention opening session, followed by an awesome night at the Ty Myers concert!
National FFA Convention — Day 3!
Day 3 was a busy one! We spent the day at the convention center experiencing the Expo, exploring the shopping mall, and soaking in all that National Convention has to offer!
One of the biggest highlights of the day was attending the Second General Session, where we were incredibly proud to receive our National FFA 3-Star Chapter Award!
A 3-Star Chapter is the highest level of National Chapter recognition and recognizes chapters that are doing an outstanding job of growing leaders, building communities, and strengthening agriculture. This award is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our members throughout the year, and we couldn’t be more proud of them!
We also had the opportunity to listen to the retiring address from one of the National FFA Vice Presidents, which was a great reminder of the impact FFA can have on students and the importance of leadership and service.
To finish off the day, we enjoyed dinner at Texas Roadhouse before grabbing some Orange Leaf for dessert.
National FFA Convention — Day 4!
We had a slower-paced day today with some shopping and a visit to Hunter’s Honey Farm! Our members got to learn all about beekeeping, tour the hives, sample different kinds of honey, and even bottle their very own honey to take home!
It was a sweet way to spend our last full day of convention!
We can’t wait to share all the memories, experiences, and new things we’ve learned along the way!
