Metamorphosis Magic
Once again, the Kansas State Pesticide Safety and IPM program hosted an insect-themed art contest. “The goal this year was to explore insects that go through complete and incomplete metamorphosis, then create artwork that fits the contest theme.” There are five age groups. For the 9th through 12th grade group, four Hoxie High School art students were selected: 2nd place - Coryn Nye and Lillie Denio, and 3rd place - Emily Farber and Sarah Dardis. This year's entries are posted on the K-State Extension - Pesticide Safety and Integrated Pest Management Program Facebook page. These students will be recognized for their achievement by receiving a certificate and a prize. Congratulations!
