USD 412 Receives Grants From the Sheridan County Community Foundation
USD 412 received two grants from the Sheridan County Community Foundation in October. Under Cyndie Aumiller's leadership, the school libraries received a $1,917.00 grant to obtain a 2-year movie license from Swank. The license allows the school and community to show movies, documentaries, and TV shows in the classroom and auditorium in compliance with legal requirements.
The Yearbook/Journalism class also received a $2,122.00 grant. The Yearbook class will use the funds to purchase camera equipment to update outdated or broken cameras and lenses to use at Junior High and High School sports, in classrooms, and at organizational events.
USD 412 is very thankful to the Sheridan County Community Foundation for supporting students and teachers in both the elementary and JH/HS buildings.
