DIGHTON TOURNAMENT RESULTS
On Saturday September 21, the Hoxie Lady Indians played in the annual Dighton Tournament. They began the day in pool play against Spearville. They dropped the first match by the score of 18-25 and 13-25. Game 2 in pool play, the Lady Indians handily beat Wallace County with a win 25-8, 25-8. They then bested Quinter 25-19, 25-11. They finished Pool Play in 2nd place with a record of 2-1. The Lady Indians then played Holcomb, the winners of Pool B, in the semi-finals. They lost a tough set with scores of 25-19, 15-25, and 22-25. Their final match of the day pitted them against Dighton in the consolation game. They beat the Hornets 25-10 and 25-14 to finish in 3rd place!! Indian Pride!
