New Technology at HHS

In the third quarter of school, the 7th-grade ag students had the opportunity to try out VR headsets in class. “The 7th-grade students in Ag Explorations had the opportunity to explore various careers through virtual reality Oculus headsets, including eyeglasses and a career-planning curriculum,” said Mrs. Emily Mong. Mrs. Mong, who is the agriculture education teacher and FFA advisor for HHS, had the unique opportunity to serve as a pilot teacher through the launch of the Youth Career Discovery partnership. “Students really seem to enjoy learning more about various careers with a ‘real-life’ perspective.” A new group of 7th-graders will get to experience this program as part of their rotation of elective classes during the fourth quarter of school.
