The grading policy is based off of three simple rules.
1) Be on time
2) Be respectful (follow all class rules)
3) Participation and effort.
Each student will have the possibility to earn 3 points each day. If you are on time you earn a point, if you are respectful to teachers, classmates, equipment, and follow ALL class rules you earn another point, and lastly if you participate and put forth effort in the activities we are doing you will earn another point.
I choose to use this grading scale because it makes the students accountable. IF a student is late for class by they will lose a point and the best possible score for that day would be a 66.6 percent.
I feel this grading policy is fair for all students and really stresses the importance of lifetime skills.
