The Hoxie Forensics team began their new season on a high note bringing home one medal for three entries at the Oberlin Invitational Tournament on January 31. Kyle Ewers and Lexi Munk each entered the Poetry Interpretation category, and Kyle also gave an Informative speech.
Judges gave both students encouraging and helpful comments. Kyle was happy to bring home fourth place with his speech concerning the impact of rock and roll on American culture.
Our next competition is at Hill City on February 6.
