Happening in Pre-K?

§ Reminder – I am taking orders for our Pre-K DVD. They are $6.00 each .
§ Thursday, May 15th: Pre-K Program! Please arrive between 6:45 – 6:55. Bring your child to the Pre-K classroom. Each child’s name will be on the gym floor, so you will know where to sit!
§ Friday, May 16th: School Carnival
§ Monday, May 19th and Tuesday, May 20th: Field trips to Jimmy Johnson Memorial Park
Group Activities: We are finishing our Health and Fitness unit. We will also practice each day for our program.
í Alphabet Time: This week we will practice manipulating sounds by changing the first letter in words (C-A-T to S-A-T, etc.) words from our poem “Jumping Beans”. We will also write lists.
í Book Time: We will review the nursery rhyme Jack Be Nimble and read the big book “Dr. Seuss’ ABC”.
Centers
Several of our centers will be children’s choice this week since this is our LAST week for centers! We will have water play (where the kids get to wash toys before we store them!), Gears, Legos, puzzles, dollhouses, etc.
