Jr. High Indians Defeat Devils

Thursday, the Jr. High Indians went to Oberlin to play their 4th game of the season. The Indians kicked off and started the game. The Indians got the ball back on a fumble from the Red Devils. Dillon scored on a run up the middle, led by the Indian line. The Indians got the extra point making it 8-0. The Indians got the ball back after an interception by Cayle. the Indians drove to finnaly score with Dylan scoring on a touchdown run. The Indians failed to get the 2-point conversion making it 14-0. The Indians kicked off and played tough defense to make the Red Devils punt. The punt was caught by Dylan and he took it to the house, gaining the extra point making it 22-0. The Indians kicked the ball and played some impressive defense to get the ball back. Time was winding down in the 2nd quarter. Quarterback Colton ran around the outside to score on a long touchdown run. The Indians failed to get the 2-point conversion. The score now is 28-0. That's how the first half would end. The Indians came out in the 2nd half just like they did in the first. Hoxie got the ball on the 20-yard line after getting a touchback. The Indians drove the ball and got a turnover on downs after getting stopped by the Red Devil defense. The Red Devils took over and drove the ball getting down to the 25-yard line. Cayle, with another interception, got the ball back for the Hoxie Indians. The Indians were using the clock and just ran the ball driving down the field when Dillon shook off tacklers and made it into the endzone. The Indians failed to get the extra point making it 36-0. The 3rd quarter came to rest and the starting of the 4th brought the Oberlin Red Devils the ball after getting the kick. The Red Devils scored on a short run, and missed the extra point making it 6-34. Dylan scored in the 4th quarter on a run around the outside. After getting the 2-point conversion, the scoreboard showed 42-6. That's how the game ended, making the Jr. High Indians 3-1 on their season. The Indians will be hosting the St. Francis Indians next week.
