Junior High ends Season With A Win

The Junior High Hoxie Indians played their final game against Quinter last week. The Indians got the ball at the start of the game. Neither team moved the ball during the first quarter. The first quarter ended with a score of 0 - 0. In the 2nd quarter, the Indians got the ball back from the Bulldogs. Dylan scored on a pitch around the outside. Getting the 2-point conversion, the score was 8 - 0. The Indians kicked off and took over with their tremendous defense. The Indians played good defense and took over after a punt. Hoxie drove the ball and Colton took it over the goal line for a touchdown. After getting the 2-point conversion, the score was 16 - 0. The Indians kicked off. Quinter drove the ball well and was finally stopped. The Bulldogs had to punt and the Hoxie Indians offense took over. Colton hooked up with Dylan for a touchdown pass. The 2-point conversion was good, and the score was 14 - 0. This is the way the first half ended. The Indians came out after half and kicked off. The Indians played great defense and Danny had an interception and took it all the way for a touchdown. The extra point was no good, making the score 30 - 0. Jaxsen caused a fumble and recovered it getting the ball back for Hoxie. Dylan took it to the house. After missing the extra point, the score was 36 - 0. The Indians came out once again and played awesome defense and stopped Quinter again. The Indians got the ball back and drove. Colton pitched to Cayle for a 7-yard touchdown run. The 2-point conversion was good, making the score 44 - 0. The Indians kicked off and brought the return man down. The Bulldogs had a trick play and go the ball close to scoring. The Bulldogs scored on a run up the middle. Getting the 2-point conversion, the score was now 44 - 8. The Indians just held the ball and ended the game. The Hoxie Junior High Football team completed their season with a 6 - 1 record.
